BIO
Michael has been surrounded by craftspeople his entire life. Growing up in his family’s welding shop, he learned to execute a design from concept to fabrication. In 2006, he became an apprentice woodworker and began pursuing what would become a lifelong love for the materials and tools of the trade. He has been collaborating with clients on custom projects ever since. Each piece is made to last generations.
MATERIALS
In an effort to avoid un-sustainable forestry practices, only domestic woods are used. This is hardly a limitation because of the wide variety of domestic species available. This includes: Walnut (black, claro) White and red oak, Maple (hard, silver, birdseye, curly), Cherry, Ash, Hickory, Elm, Sycamore, Red wood, Douglas fir, and many more.
FINISHES
Unless otherwise specified all pieces are stained and finished with Rubio’s Monocoat
LEAD TIME
All projects are built custom to order and require an 8-10 week lead time.
